Uptown · New Orleans, LA
BPM reframed the front of this Uptown home to create a raised porch, opened up the entry with sidelights, and updated the steps, railings, columns, trim, and decking. At the rear, a raised deck with Trex composite decking, metal posts and railings, and a fixed foundation created a place for outdoor living.

After an upstairs laundry-room leak damaged the first-floor wood flooring in this Old Metairie home, the homeowners wanted the affected floors replaced without disturbing their newly remodeled kitchen. BPM replaced the damaged flooring while keeping the kitchen intact.

Old Metairie, LA
BPM built this three-story home in Old Metairie with four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms. The first floor brings together two garages, an entertaining area, and an indoor-outdoor kitchen. The main living area, kitchen, and two bedrooms occupy the second floor. Two more bedrooms, an additional living room, and conditioned attic space complete the third floor.

BPM removed an existing addition that was in poor condition and rebuilt it from the foundation up. The project also included a complete interior renovation of the entire house.

The Sanctuary · Mandeville, LA
A completed new-construction home built by BPM. The exterior brings together brick, stucco, a covered front entrance, and an attached garage.

Warehouse District · New Orleans, LA
In 2017, BPM renovated Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar in New Orleans, updating the kitchen and bathrooms and removing a load-bearing wall through the center of the restaurant to open the dining room around a double-sided central bar. BPM also added the front gallery along Tchoupitoulas Street and made structural provisions for a future extension. In 2020, the gallery expanded around the corner along Girod Street.

BPM updated this compact kitchen with custom white cabinetry, quartz countertops, a marble backsplash, and stainless steel appliances. The pass-through counter connects the kitchen to the adjoining room, making the most of the existing space.

White cabinetry, a wood range hood, and a wood island bring warmth to the open kitchen. Two bathrooms pair pale tile and stone surfaces with brass or black fixtures. The gallery also includes views taken during installation.

BPM replaced the dark cabinetry with white custom cabinets and quartz countertops, updated the backsplash and fixtures, and improved the lighting and layout. The apron-front sink and warm pendant lights complete the refreshed galley kitchen.

BPM removed the wall between the kitchen and living area and created a new opening into the dining room. Relocated appliances, new cabinetry and hardware, crown molding, undercabinet lighting, concealed outlets, and updated flooring and backsplash give the kitchen a more open, connected layout.

BPM took the kitchen down to the framing to redesign the layout, plumbing, electrical, and lighting. Modern cabinetry, a large center island, updated appliances, warm flooring, and a coordinated backsplash create more storage and gathering space. The bathroom was also taken down to the studs and rebuilt with a glass-enclosed shower, green tile, hex flooring, a custom stone-top vanity, and updated plumbing fixtures and lighting.

BPM removed the existing Jacuzzi tub and shower combination to create a more open layout with a separate freestanding tub and a spacious glass-enclosed walk-in shower. Updated large-format floor and wall tile and new plumbing fixtures complete the renovation.

Water leaking beneath a cracked tub damaged the subfloor and adjacent shower. BPM replaced the tub, removed the old shower header, and updated the room with subway tile, new flooring, and a stone vanity top with an undermount sink. The renovation brings a more open feel to the tub and shower area.

At Voodoo II in New Orleans’ Central Business District, a long bar, wood tables, and a dark ceiling give this commercial interior a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Outdoor spaces
Uptown · New Orleans, LA
BPM refreshed the front yard with iron fencing and remote-operated rolling gates, concrete driveways and sidewalks with brick accents, and brick borders around the garden. An aggregate seating area with a brick border adds a place to enjoy the courtyard.

Meraux, LA
This kitchen renovation in Meraux replaced the cabinetry, countertops, and tile backsplash. Dark cabinets contrast with light surfaces and stainless steel appliances for a clean, updated finish.

BPM replaced the cabinets and updated the paint and flooring throughout this kitchen. A spacious island with granite countertops adds room for cooking and gathering, with stainless steel appliances completing the renovation.
Outdoor spaces
Covington, LA
At this raised home near the Tchefuncte River, BPM replaced the weathered porch and staircase, added a covered roof structure, and updated the decking and railings. A beadboard-style ceiling, recessed lighting, and outdoor fans complete the rear porch. The front staircase was also rebuilt with slate-gray composite treads and new composite railings.

This bathroom renovation in Metairie added Shaker cabinetry and a linen cabinet for more storage. A walk-in shower with a bench and handheld showerhead, updated tile, and a corner vanity bring the room together.
Living spaces
Mandeville, LA
BPM used space from an oversized laundry room to recess a custom entertainment center into the adjoining living room. Moving the dryer beside the washer and relocating the water heater to the attic made room for a stone countertop, an undermount sink, and wall-to-wall laundry cabinetry. Both rooms now work better without adding square footage.

BPM transformed this powder room with custom trim and wainscoting, dark walls, marble-look tile flooring, and a new vanity with a stone top and brass fixtures. Updated lighting and a new mirror complete the room.
